The VideA_00 festival ran at a various sites in central Barcelona. La Escultura Luminosa was shown at La Capella, a 250 year old chapel which has been converted into an arts centre.

It has long been my wish to design light sculptures which are easily portable but unfold to a large size. This is the first sculpture to be created following this plan. Six metres high when on show, it fits into two suitcases for transportation. The sculpture was the centre piece of this exhibition of video and electronic art. In the background you can see a video projection which is using live images of the light sculpture. These video images are being electronically modified with feedback. |
